In sticking with the Rugby World Cup opportunities, Martin Sneddon announced at the Waitakere Enterprise breakfast recently that the Rugby World Cup is not just about winning, it's about New Zealand showing the world who we are.
Tourism New Zealand has been attracting many visitors to our shores by showing off our beautiful country and its people.
There are many opportunities Waitakere businesses can offer the 60,000 visitors expected during the Rugby World Cup and this mini documentary shows an example of what one part of the Waitakere Community has to offer. As an alternative to rugby many of the rugby fans that visit Waitakere may want to go surfing. This video filmed at Piha and presented by Rebecca Gin features some familiar faces and expresses the welcoming spirit all Kiwis love to show.
